We acknowledge that there are members of our community who simply cannot afford the specialist legal services they require. We also acknowledge that many community legal centres do not have the resources or training to offer specialist wills and estate services.
We offer a limited pro bono legal service in the areas of estate administration and estate litigation.
We are not a community legal centre and we receive no funding for the pro bono services we offer. If you are seeking pro bono legal assistance you must be referred to us by a community legal centre. Our usual fees and charges will apply to our legal advices if you call us and you have not been referred by a community legal centre.
Our pro bono legal service aims to provide members of the public with immediate and appropriate preliminary telephone advice or information to enable you to protect your rights or interests. Please note:
- Hayward & Co. Lawyers will not be your lawyers in relation to your legal matter; and
- Hayward & Co. Lawyers will not be doing any work or taking any steps on your behalf in relation to your legal matter to protect any rights or interests you may have.
You may be eligible for funding under the Legal Aid Qld Civil Law Scheme, subject to meeting income and asset tests and you are considered by Legal Aid Qld Civil Law Scheme to have a right or interest that has merit pursuing.
